Pregnancy Symptoms

You may be wondering if you might be pregnant.  Just being late for your period is not enough of an indication of pregnancy, especially if you are under 20.  Young women are often less regular with their periods and being late may be just a natural variation.  Of course a positive pregnancy test is the best indicator, but no one wants to buy a test if it is unlikely to be positive.  Here are the most common symptoms of early pregnancy.  You may have one or more, but if you have most of them, you should probably take a pregnancy test.

  • Late period
  • More tired than usual
  • Nausea
  • More or less hungry than usual
  • Dizziness
  • Swollen or sore breasts
  • Urinating more often than usual
  • Weight loss or gain
